Music For Worship

Music is a vital component of our worship experience and we provide many opportunities for participation and enjoyment of this art.

Chancel Choir
Tis choir rehearses each week on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm and sings at the 11:00 am service each Sunday October through mid-May. the choir welcomes all who love choral music and wish to take part in the choir fellowship and weekly participation in the worship service.

Matins Choir
This choir is open to all who enjoy music and wish to participate in the worship service each week. The choir rehearses at 8:15 am on Sunday mornings October through mid-May and sings at the 9:00 am service. It joins with the Chancel Choir on festival occasions such as Christmas and Easter for combined choir presentations.

Summer Choir
During summer months this choir rehearses at 9:15 am each Sunday and sings at the 10:00 am worship service. The choir enthusiastically welcomes all who love singing and making a joyful noise during the summer months.

Handbell Choir
The Handbell Choir rehearses on Thursdays, October through April, at 7:30 pm in the chapel. The choir is open to experienced bell ringers as well as those who wish to learn this interesting musical activity. The choir performs frequently during the year at Sunday worship services.

Recorder Choir
This group meets each Tuesday afternoon to practice and study recorder music. The choir group welcomes new members who are interested in playing or learning to play this woodwind instrument. the group has participated in worship services.

Children's and Youth Choirs
These choirs meet in conjunction with the WINGS and Thursday Knights programs. the choirs sing frequently at the 9:00 am service and perform in the Christmas Pageant each December.

Organ Concert Series
Distinguished international organists have periodically given recitals on the Jaeckel organ in our sanctuary. These programs attract large auduences from the church, as well as the community.
